Welcome to Trinity Lutheran Church!

Thank you for visiting Trinity Lutheran Church. Trinity has been part of the Capitol Hill neighborhood since 1901. Throughout its history Trinity has sought to be a positive presence of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Still today, the church at Trinity seeks ways to be actively involved in the life-giving relationship with God, being what Jesus has said we are: Light on the Hill.

This We Believe...

Trinity Lutheran Church confesses the historic Christian faith. We believe in God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is God en-fleshed (incarnate), whose birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension provide salvation for all humankind, and through Christ we have access to forgiveness, reconciliation, wholeness, new life-indeed eternal life.

We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word, and the only source of God's teaching for faith and for living as His children.

We value the community of God's church, and the privilege of being God's people in the community around us. We seek not only to hear God's Word, but also to do it, living with compassion in our neighborhood.
